Where do I meet the boat?

What should we bring?

Feel free to bring a small cooler with food and beverages. The boat is covered for shade however suntan lotion is never a bad idea! 

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refunds will be given up to 24 hours prior to departure.

What happens with inclement weather?

We recommend showing up 15 minutes prior to departure unless we contact you. Most of the time storms move through quickly and we can depart as soon as the storm ends.

Is alcohol allowed?

Yes, alcohol is permitted. Feel free to bring your beverages of choice inside a reasonable sized cooler.

What is the best time to book a tour? 

The Chincoteague ponies are wild! We will do our best to find you ponies!  

Will we definitely see ponies?

During most of our tours we can get views of the ponies. Many times we get within feet of them. Sometimes the ponies are a little distant. It is very rare that we can’t find a pony. We promise to do our best!

Are there cruises for special events?

Yes! We run cruises for the pony swim, rocket launches, as well as our Rise & Shine and Sunset tours. Feel free to request a customized trip as well!

How long are tours?

Our tours run for 2 hours.  Sometimes we may go longer depending on where we have to go to find ponies. 

Can we run the tour?

Absolutely!  This is your tour!  We can personalize your tour any way you like!

Are all captains approved by the USCG?

Yes.  All captains have passed the test to be approved by the USCG. All captains are certified in CPR, First aid, and EAD devices.

Can we have more than 6 people on the tour?

Unfortunately, the USCG sets the limit of up to 6 passengers on board for your safety. In the interest of safety as well as following the laws, we can only have a maximum of 6 passengers.
